Mitch McConnell says ‘THIS FIGHT ISN’T OVER’ Against Abortion, Blasts Democrat Party as the Problem
Go Mitch. Don’t be a ghoul like these trendy New Yorkers who think Abortion is a fad in a world they believe is a joke. Be an American patriot. Defend the unborn and cultivate a culture that celebrates life, not one that believes in preventing it.
Of course, we all know it — talk is cheap. Actions get results, and According to Mitch: “When 94% of Senate Democrats could not even vote to protect babies after they’re born, we are no longer dealing with a normal, traditional Democratic Party.”
As reported by magavoter:
As the issue of abortion continues to polarize US lawmakers, Democrats’ embrace of controversial late-term procedures have left Republicans outraged and appearing increasingly united.
Yesterday, virtually every Senate Democrat voted against a new measure which would offer protection to abortion survivors, further angering and galvanizing Republicans, and prompting a swift response from Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.
Speaking on Tuesday, a clearly-upset McConnell condemned his Democrat colleagues for their refusal to support the measure, stating “we are no longer dealing with a normal, traditional Democratic Party.”
“We are looking at a party that has been dragged so far left, it would be unrecognizable to folks just a few years ago,” said McConnell.
The debate arose after several prominent Democrats vying for the party’s 2020 nomination signaled their support of partial-birth abortions and other procedures, including whether or not to resuscitate babies who survive attempted abortions, prompting outcry.
In response, pro-life advocates took to Twitter to thank McConnell and Republicans for their efforts in protecting unborn babies.
“Which is why, sir, that this onetime Elected Dem Delegate, 1984, left the party in 2012. I’m now a pro life Republican.” Wow, nice.
